Sports Is My Passion
In early 2005 I participated in a series of transformational weekends in which participants learned to communicate with the Divine Guidance that is within each of us. At the time, I was working in the business world – coaching executives and their teams to communicate in ways that removed barriers to breakthrough performance. I was good at it, but my heart wasn’t in it. It wasn’t my passion. But what was? Sports!
I’ve been drawn to sports all my life. In my fondest memories I’m sitting in front of the TV with my dad, watching the Sunday afternoon games. It didn’t matter who was playing, I just loved hanging out with my dad and being inspired over and over again by the all-out passion and dedication of the athletes.
The Voice of These Inspirations
(sample pages)
In the spring of 2005, I began writing with the intention of creating a series of columns to be published in newspapers around the country. The project continues to evolve and I now envision many, many products, but we are beginning with a gift book of meditations.
How do I write these inspirations? I get up every morning, I meditate, I sit at my computer and I listen. And then I type what I hear. So there is a voice speaking through me. I’m calling it the Collective Spirit of Athletes — past, present and future. Is it really? I don’t know. But I do know that what I write reflects a connection to a divine source.
