“When you fall down, just get up again.”
When you visit Lindsey Vonn's website, you learn a lot about what makes sher tick. These words represent a significant part of Lindsey’s life philosophy. To read more on the structure of her beliefs.

Lindsey Vonn is someone you do not want to miss in the upcoming Olympic Games. She is a favorite in three alpine ski races –the Ladies Downhill, Super G, and Super Combined – and her powerful combination of speed, strength and tenacity makes her one very exciting athlete to watch.
Today’s Real Zeal quote reflects a fundamental aspect of Lindsey’s core philosophy – when you fall down, just get up again. It’s a simple, yet profound, statement.
I believe this philosophy could go a long way in eliminating our insidious and debilitating conversations with Failure.
Here’s what Failure sounds like: We fall down and Failure says: “I’m not very good at this.” We fall down and Failure says: “I can’t play this game, maybe I better find a new game.” We fall down and Failure says: “I never get anything right!”
Versus Lindsey’s approach: We fall down. We get up. We fall down. We get up. (Notice that this version has no stories about failure.)
Lindsey Vonn is on to something and it’s no accident that she’s so successful. By the way, today’s quote represents the second part of her life philosophy. The first? If you work hard, it will always pay off.
Lindsey is operating with an almost fail-proof formula for success – Work hard (with complete certainty that it will pay off) + get up when you fall.
Definitely worth a try!
To learn more about this inspired Olympic athlete and to see her in magnificent action, please keep reading.

I’d first like to share a little more about Lindsey …
She’s been on skis since she was two years old.
She began racing at seven and by nine was competing internationally.
At fourteen, she was the first American female ever to win Italy’s Trofeo Topolina Contest (the Junior-Junior Worlds)
She first joined the U.S. Olympic Ski Team in 2002, but has yet to win a medal (this is the year!)
She’s the first American to win back-to-back overall World Cup championships (2008 and 2009) and has a total of 28 total World Cup wins (the most successful American woman in World Cup history)
She was named by NBC’s Universal Sports the Female Athlete of the Decade
Second, here is a link to the Olympic Schedule for the events in which Lindsey will be competing. Don’t miss them and at the very least, record them for later viewing.
Third, I’ve included links to two awe-inspiring videos of Lindsey’s phenomenal downhill racing.
