“I'm not racing to extend my legacy, I'm racing to affect the lives of millions of people."
Lance Armstrong has announced his return to cycling, including the upcoming July '09 Tour de France. His commitment to racing, however, is inside a much bigger commitment -- raising global awareness for the fight against cancer.
"There are 8 million people that die from cancer around the world every year. If I can even remotely help that population and their friends and families, it's worth it."
